Mark 4:38-40

Jesus was sleep at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, "teacher don't you care that we're going to drown?"

When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves  "silence! Be still!" Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, "why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

O/A- Jesus has dominion over all things. No matter what they are and we should trust in him fully and our faith should lye in him and him alone. Even when we face the "storms" of life we should turn to the lord and know that whatever the outcome is his will and he has a plan and a purpose for what is going on!!! Jesus can bring peace in the chaos we just have to trust him and let our faith be In him alone! 

Father your word this morning is spot on. We all have mountains and valleys, and we all face the storms in life, but no matter what we face. We should always put our faith in you and know that you have our back and that you have a greater purpose for our lives and for what's going on. I pray, father that you give us strength today. You give us eyes to see and ears to hear. I asked that you keep us safe and that you fill us with your presence and use us to do whatever work you want us to do. We are blessed to be the hands in the feet of Jesus spreading the gospel to those around us. I love you and lift you up and your son's mighty name amen.
