Morning S.O.A.P.S.

Mark 16:15 And then he told them "Go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone.  O/A- Jesus isn't saying hold onto his teachings and only speak them to people who want to hear it. He is stating to take his message to all people no matter what their views or positions all over the world. It is a directive from Jesus for an outreach not just to local people but for people all over the world because the message of Gods kingdom needs to be proclaimed to everyone not just some!!! Father your word is so powerful and true. We need to take your message and spread it to all people even those we feel uncomfortable doing it to those are the ones we need to the most! Give us strength to be doers of your word not holding onto it but spreading it like seeds and hoping that the soil we are spreading it on is fertile and will retain it. Bless this day lord and all that are in it we love you in Jesus name AMEN

Mark 13:32-33 However, no one knows the day or our when these things will happen not even the angels in heaven or the son himself. Only the father knows. And since you don't know when that time will come be on guard! Stay alert! O/A- we do not know the day or hour of his return! We must live a life NOW that is pleasing to the lord, do not wait to get your life right for if you wait your gambling with your life, and only the father knows how much time we have here!! We must be ready, standing guard, be vigilant and aware of what's going on. Be spiritually prepared for the lords return. Cover yourself in Gods word, do not be led astray by false prophets claiming they know cause only the father in heaven knows the day and hour not even the son knows!! Mark 12:25 For when the dead rise they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like angels in heaven.  O/A-when our time is up here on earth, our existence will not be a continuation of an earthly One but will be transformed into a deeper spiritual existence. We will be in a more intimate relationship with the one who created us.  Living in a place filled with light and perfection, where our worries will be troubles will be gone and it will be praising and rejoicing always!! Father God your promises stand true, for our reward for enduring the trials and tribulations on earth is a life eternal with you in heaven! Mark 11:25 "But when you are praying first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against so that your father in heaven will forgive your sins too." O/A- we must not harbor unforgiveness towards anyone or ourselves!! For we must forgive others and ourselves the same way the father has forgiven us for all of our sins. Harboring unforgiveness can hinder our relationship with God and become a barrier. Lay it down and let it go, receive the freedom that is already paid for by the blood of Christ!  Father thank you for this amazing day. Mark 7:15 "It is not what goes into your body that defiles you, you are rifled by what comes from your heart" O/A- you will produce bad things from the treasury of a bad heart. You will produce good things from the treasury of a good heart. Jesus is saying that we are not judged by the things that we eat because the things that we eat, do not pass through our heart. It's the intentions or desires from within the heart that are the source of defilement. Surrender your heart to the lord so that his light can push out any darkness that may be dwelling in us. For darkness can never birth evil if we allow the light to be within us.  Father we lift you up and give you all the praise and glory for it is by your breath that we sustain life father it is by your hand that we are fed and it is by your grace and mercy that our lives are even possible. Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.  O/A- No matter what situation we are facing God can use it for good if we let him. Just as Joseph being sold into slavery by his brothers God turned that bad situation into a glorious one and allowed him to save many lives even though the enemy intended to harm him. God can and will turn evil into good. He doesn't cause the evil but if we move out of the way and hand it over to him he will make it good.  Father thank you for this remarkable reminder that it doesn't matter what situation we're facing in life that Lord you can and will turn it into something good if we surrender it over to you. So father strengthen us and encourage us in no matter what situation we're facing to surrender it to you and walk in faith knowing that you have it under control. Mark 4:38-40 Jesus was sleep at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, "teacher don't you care that we're going to drown?" When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves  "silence! Be still!" Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, "why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?" O/A- Jesus has dominion over all things. No matter what they are and we should trust in him fully and our faith should lye in him and him alone. Even when we face the "storms" of life we should turn to the lord and know that whatever the outcome is his will and he has a plan and a purpose for what is going on!!! Jesus can bring peace in the chaos we just have to trust him and let our faith be In him alone!  Father your word this morning is spot on. John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.  O/A- darkness will never prevail over the light. The enemy will can never and will never win against Jesus. With his death he took back the keys to hell and the grave. The light of God can penetrate the darkest corners. let that light into your heart and it will push out any darkness that's dwelling in there. Live in the light and give it all to the lord for he is where the victory is found not in ourselves for we will fail every time, but when we give it to the lord  darkness can never win! John 13:7 Jesus replied "you don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will." O/A- it is not up to us to question the lords work or what is going on, God wants us to trust him and submit our will over to him.  It leaning on our own self but fully leaning and relying on God to guide our lives in the path it's supposed to go on. Even in the valleys never doubt God for he will reveal on his time the plan he has for us.  Father God your words are always spot on, for they are truth. We aren't meant to understand your plan just to trust you and move out of the way. Give us strength to do just that, to move out of your way and to deny ourselves lord so that you can have full control. Watch over us father as we go through the day, give us strength to pull through any and all situations that are not of you and to lean on you father and not ourselves. Luke 21:34-36 Watch out don't let your hearts be dolled by carousing and drunkenness and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the Earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors  and stand before the son of Man O/A- do not be fooled by the things of the world. Do not allow Man to take your focus off of the Lord, the enemy is very slick setting traps for us to fall into and little by little he tries to draw our attention away from God. Luke 17:32 If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it. O/A- we must die to ourselves in order to live in Christ. We must trust the Lord FULLY and walk in faith not by sight. Leaving behind the old ways and a life lived in the world and pick up our cross, follow Jesus and not just believe but TRUST!!!! We must not cling to worldly belongings but instead cling to the lord!! Father God I lift this day up to you giving you thanks and praise for all that you do. Your words always hit home. We must deny ourselves and allow Holy Spirit to fill us and completely surrender to your will and leave our will our wants our desires behind. Father for your will for our lives must be top priority. Luke 17:4 " even if that person wrong with you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive. O/A- if we do not forgive then the father will not forgive us! We must be faithful to the Lord and his teachings no matter what. We must extend grace to others the same as God has extended it to us. We are not the ones who judge God is, we love others and show them that the blood of Christ wipes away ALL sin. It doesn't say certain ones it says ALL!! And just as God forgave our sins we forgive others because if we come in front of the father with unforgiveness in our hearts he will not forgive us.  Father we lift this day up to you. Give a strength to love not to judge, to forgive and not condemn. For it is our job to love others and push them closer to you and to be a Christ like example in all that we do. Luke 16:10-12 " if you are faithful in the little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?" O/A- if we cannot be faithful or trusted in small thing how are we suitable for greater and bigger things? We must learn to manage worldly things and not let them get in the way of what God has for us or cause us to take our eyes away From him. We must learn that temporary things are not important that our riches should be store up in heaven. We must be faithful in managing what is entrusted to us, for it will lead into receiving greater blessing in the future.  Father thank you for your word this morning. Luke 12:31 Seek the kingdom of God above all else and he will give you everything you need. O/A- In all that you do seek the kingdom of God first, nothing is complete without God!! For the things of this world are only temporary, they fade away. But seek God first and he will give you what you need, filling your cup giving you a life of true happiness. Store up your riches in heaven not in the world for the worlds riches fade but heavens are eternal. True fulfillment comes from your relationship with God not material things!  Father thank you for the word this morning. It's so easy to get caught up in the things of the world. Wanting this or that when what we need is you and trust that you will provide all that we need. Like 11:39-40 Then the lord said to him"you Pharisees are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish but the inside you are filthy full of greed and weakness. Fools didn't God make the inside as well as the outside? O/A-let the outside  and the way that you live your life. Be a direct reflection of the goodness of God that dwells inside of you. Don't focus on shiny possessions and fancy things, but instead make sure that your heart is submitted to God and that his light shines through you to all those around you. True righteousness comes from within from a heart that is cleansed and generous. Father God I lift this day up to you.
