Morning S.O.A.P.S.

Luke 11:28 Jesus replied,"But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice."   O/A- Gods word is not meant to lay dormant in us. We are to put his teachings into action, letting our lives reflect his goodness and love through the way we live! Allow Gods word to shape our lives and mold us into his image. Leaving behind old habits and behaviors and putting on the new identity and traits that come along with being in a close relationship with Jesus. TRANSFORMATION!!! Putting on your new identity in Christ and leaving the old behind, never going back just continuing forward leaning on Christ Jesus in all we do! Father bless this day. I lift it up to you and thank you for your mercy and grace in our lives lord that we definitely don't deserve. your relentless love and never giving up chasing us down even in the darkest places you are there waiting for us to turn to you and let you in. Luke 9:23-24 Then he said to the crowd "if any of you want to be my follower, you must give up your own way take up your cross daily and follow me. If you hang onto your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it." O/A- one day every knee will bow in front of the one and only true God in heaven. this life is not about our will or our wants and desires. It is ultimately about the will of God and doing his work here on earth. We are vessels here to spread the message and to show others that, that's the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. By helping spread God's word and showing others through action that a life lived in closeness with the Lord is the only way to truly live with joy, peace, and true happiness. Luke 8:17 For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to Light and made known to all.  O/A- Gods truth and justice will always prevail! Nothing is hidden forever and what is done in darkness will eventually be brought to the light. We can not hide anything from God, so always do things with good intentions because we all are held accountable for our actions. Not just from a worldly point but from a Godly stand point. Luke 6:45 A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.  O/A- when your heart is submitted to the Lord, then good things will come from it. But when you hang on to worldly things or fleshly desires than things that will come from the heart will reflect that of the world. In all you do, you must submit your ways to the Lord so he can guide your steps for when we act out of our own desires in our own wants we get let astray and we begin to take our eyes off of the Lord, but when we fix our eyes on him and we let the Holy Spirit guide us he will lead us down the right path. a person's words and actions are a reflection of their inner character. Luke 5:32 "I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent." O/A- Jesus wants to wash the filthiest clean. He wants everyone to know that we all miss the mark. That we all need the blood of Christ. Doesn't matter what we have done or where we are at in life we are never to far away. Gods love extends to us all the same. When Jesus shed his blood on the cross it wasn't for certain people it was for ALL people!  We all need it no one can get into heaven on their own the only way to eternity in heaven with the father is through Jesus Christ!!!! Walk in the freedom that Christs blood has paid for, live with true peace and joy that can only come from opening your heart to the lord and letting him have control. Luke 3:8 Proved by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. Don't just say to ' we're safe for we are descendants of Abraham.' That means nothing for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones. O/A- we must not just say we have repented but show through our actions or the way we live that our lives are submitted to God. It doesn't matter what background, nationality, we come from God can raise up people of faith when we surrender our lives to his will. We are all God children and we all get to share his love equally. We just have to be receptive of it and let him in so that change can begin and we can be molded into the people of God we are intended to be. Acts 2:25-28 25-King David said this about him: ' I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken for he is right beside me. 26-No wonder my heart is glad and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. 27-For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. 28-You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.' John 18:37 Pilate said "so you are a king?" Jesus responded " you say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. And all who love truth recognize that what I say is true." O/A-Jesus was born to reveal the truth not to live or bend to worldly standards. And all believer that recognizes the truth follow and stand for him. Jesus didn't care what happened to him on the worldly side his purpose was to fulfill the will of God speaking life and standing on the truth.  Father God thank you for you Sons boldness to stand on the truth never bending to the worlds ways but always honoring you in all he did so that his blood would be the perfect once and for all time sacrifice for OUR sins. John 17:14-15 I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world. I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.  O/A- speaking about the relationship between believer and the world. The evil one (Satan) used anything he can to get us to turn our focus away from our savior and lord. Jesus shared all of Gods teaching and ways with us so that we could see the goodness and experience his love first hand. And as a result the world(who rejects God) in turn rejects the believers. Because we are set apart for Gods work doing his will and not the worlds!  Father God I pray for your hedge of protection guarding our mind, our heart and our spirit. PRAY Praise Repent Ask Yield  Father God, I lift this day up to you, asking that you give us strength encourage to walk boldly in faith, knowing that whatever your will is will be done and trusting not walking by sight but walking by faith amen .  Giving it all to you and holding nothing for ourselves father God you are the gardener pruning away, dead branches that did not need to be in our lives so more fruitful things can grow. You never said pruning is gonna be easy, but it is necessary. I asked that you bless this day give us words to speak and help us be a positive light to those around us. O/A- Jesus is the way.  Apart from we can do nothing of lasting value. For the fruit that is produced through Jesus is everlasting and eternal but without him it would be rotten and decay. For Christ is the source of life eternal, there is no other but him. It's his blood that atones  for our sin, it's his sacrifice that makes our salvation possible. We must remain connected to Christ for spiritual fruitfulness.  Father thank you for your word today. It is a reminder that it is only through Christ that we have eternal life. John 14:6 Jesus told him " I am the way the truth and the life. No one can come to the father except through me." O/A-  Jesus is the way to the father!!!! There is no other way but through him. He is the only way we are reconciled with God, providing truth and knowledge and offering eternal life for all who come to him. Jesus is the only way our salvation is possible.  Father God thank you for your son's sacrifice that makes it all possible. Without Jesus we wouldn't have to opportunity to have eternal life. It is only by his blood, his stripes, his sacrifice that it is possible. He endured it ALL for us so that we wouldn't have to. John 10:10 The thief's purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.  O/A- Jesus offers a life that is not just about existing, it's is about living life fully and experiencing the true happiness, joy and love that can only come from having that relationship with him. It's not about being "material" rich for materials come and go but the riches the come from the lord are eternal. True happiness, peace beyond all understanding, love that fills your cup and that cannot be stripped away, contentment even in the worse situations knowing that Gods got us no matter what! You see the things of this world are all temporary the come and go and fade with time. John 9:41 " if you were blind you wouldn't be guilty."  Jesus replied "but you remain guilty because you claim you can see." O/A-  "Saying" that you are saved, "saying" that  you live a life according to the will of God and the deliberately choosing the way of the world over Gods way is worse than those who are truly blind to Gods word, when you do you are willfully choosing darkness over the light. Let the light shine through us expelling any darkness that may be lingering. John 8:7 They kept demanding an answer, so he set up again and said " all right, but let the one who has never seen throw the first stone!" O/A-  nobody is without sin. We often time get caught up in the affairs of others that we are quick to point out what others are folding wrong and we fail to see the sin in our own lives! It is not our job to judge others but instead  lead them and push them towards lord. It is important to show mercy and forgiveness for if we do not then the father won't forgive us! John 6:27 But don't be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the son of man can give you. John 3:17 God sent his son into the world, not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.  O/A- our salvation lies in the blood of Christ! Jesus Christ did not come to put us down or condemn us rather he came to lift us up, guide us and provide a way so that we can make it to eternal Life in heaven. We must understand that we have been forgiven for our sin. Once we accept and understand that there is freedom in that. John 3:20 All who do evil hate the light and refused to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed . O/A- darkness cannot dwell in the light. Light overpowers darkness everytime. When you love for the lord and your life is full of goodness you have nothing to hide. But  your life is full of darkness you tend to shy away and your actions are evil!!  Let all you do be submitted to the lord, for when he's in control no darkness will prevail. Commit your works to the lord and he shall establish your plans!!!  Father God it is such a good reminder that we are not in control. John1:13 They are reborn, not with a physical birth, resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.  O/A- our physical state does not determine whether we are children of God. It's our spiritual state and whether we have accepted him as our lord and savior that determines that! Our salvation isn't earned there is nothing we can do to earn it, it's already done.
