Matthew 16:24-25

The Jesus said to his disciples " if any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way take up your cross and follow me. If you try to hang onto your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.

O/A-you must be willing to give up all your wants and desires and ways of the world and live a life that is Holy and set apart for the lord! Not depending on yourself or anyone else but solely depending and leaning  on Christ as your foundation and way to live! For hanging onto man's ways and desires that please the flesh only lead to the grave but laying all that stuff down and bringing our desires and wants into submission to Gods, living a life solely to please God and not the world, leads to eternal life. THE WORLDS WAYS=DEATH

GODS WAY=ETERNAL LIFE

Father  your ways better!!!! Nothing good comes from us trying to do what pleases ourselves only misery and death but lord when we give it all over to you and live a life sold out for you we are filled with your goodness and love, peace and joy and death no longer has a hold on us. Give us strength to lay it all down and not pick it back up. Keep our minds focused on you surrendering even moment by moment the things of the world that take our focus off you and setting our eyes on what is holy and honoring to you. Bless this day and all who are in it in Jesus mighty name AMEN
